This notice explains how Prospera Insurance Agency LLC (Prospera, we, or us) handles information you provide through prosperacoverage.com and when you contact us about insurance services.
Information we collect
We collect the details you submit. From the home-page form, we receive your name, phone number, email address, business name and type, message, language preference, and your optional WhatsApp consent. From our detailed quote form, we receive the same contact details, language preference, and optional WhatsApp consent, plus: how you prefer to be contacted; your business's legal name, DBA (“doing business as” name), and address; the coverage you want; the type of work you do, its description, and how much of it is residential and how much commercial; your number of employees, your payroll, and what your employees do; the number of owners; whether you use subcontractors, what work they do, how much you pay them, and what you require of them; whether you have insurance now and, if so, your current insurer, premium, and policy expiration date; whether anyone has given you insurance requirements; when you want coverage to start; and any notes. Giving your business's EIN is optional; if you do, we store it encrypted. Documents you choose to upload, such as a current policy, declarations page, or certificate of insurance (COI), or a contract or list of requirements you were given, are kept in private storage. If you open the detailed quote form from one of our ads or links, it also sends us the tags in that link that show which ad or link brought you. While you fill in the detailed quote form, your answers are saved only in your own browser tab until you send them or close the tab; your EIN and files are never saved there. We also receive limited technical information used to operate and protect our forms, such as the request time and network address.
How we use information
We use this information to respond to your request, prepare your insurance application and ask insurance companies for quotes, create and service a prospective customer record, communicate with you, measure which of our ads and links bring us inquiries, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, troubleshoot delivery, comply with applicable obligations, and protect Prospera and its customers.
Service providers and disclosure
To get quotes for you, we share the details of your insurance application, including your EIN if you gave it and any documents you upload, with insurance companies and wholesale insurance brokers. We use service providers that host and protect the website, supply its fonts, receive the forms, store CRM records and documents, and deliver authorized communications. They process information for those services. We do not send your form answers to Facebook or Instagram, and this site has no Meta tracking code, such as the Meta Pixel. WhatsApp is also part of Meta: if you write to us on WhatsApp or agree to receive WhatsApp messages, those messages travel through WhatsApp. If you open our site inside the Facebook or Instagram app, that app's built-in browser is run by Meta and follows Meta's privacy practices. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell personal information.
WhatsApp messages
WhatsApp consent is optional and is recorded only when you check the box. Consent applies to messages about your quote and is not a condition of receiving a quote. You may ask us to stop WhatsApp messages at any time. WhatsApp has its own privacy practices.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system is guaranteed secure. We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above and for legal, compliance, security, and dispute-resolution needs.
Your choices
You may ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted, or withdraw a communications preference. Some information may need to be retained when law or legitimate recordkeeping duties require it.
How to delete your data
Email hola@prosperacoverage.com with the subject “Data deletion request.” Include the name, phone number, and email address used in your request so we can verify and locate the record. We will confirm receipt and explain the result or any information we must retain.
